Dust from the past – Once Upon a Time in Computing

Have you ever seen a Commodore 64, a ZX Spectrum, an Apple 2 or the legendary Olivetti computers up close? Do you know what Nixie tubes or ferrite memories are?
Thanks to the collaboration between DISI Department and the collector Mirko Marchesin, the BUP Library is hosting an exhibition with the devices that have made the history of computer science.

Today we are talking about AI and the metaverse, but innovation starts from afar. Each piece tells a story of ingenuity, vision and passion.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on April 8th at 4:30pm, and stay open until April 11th during library opening hours.
